David Lynch is Awesome!
I was recently exposed to the fascinating visual and auditory art of David Lynch. His 1990 film “Wild At Heart” struck a chord with me with it’s array of outcast characters and it’s foray into the darker and more insane side of human social behavior. I am making an effort to watch more of Lynch’s creations.
David Lynch’s movies are favorites of mine, although I have not explored them entirely. Wild at Heart was also my first David Lynch film. If you get the chance, you should definitely check out “Mulholland Drive”. I have never had my mental model of what I thought was happening in a movie become so carefully manipulated into confusion by the end of the film.
Blue Velvet is sick and amazing… you should see it. The TV show Twin Peaks was the same— I loved its… it’s VERY FABULOUS. And of course, the art school pre-requisite: Eraserhead.
